Celebrity Estate Sales focuses on building relationships with our clients. We want to make sure we answer any questions you may have. Below are our most commonly asked, if you don’t find the answer you need please reach out to us.
Is there a charge for the initial consultation?
No, our estimates are completely free of charge and last about 30 minutes.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are.
How long does the estate sale last?
We conduct your estate sale over a 2 to 3 day period in order to maximize sales. Usually Friday through Sunday. Doors are open each day for a minimum of 7 hours usually from 9am – 4pm.
How and where do you advertise?
We customize the marketing for your sale, including signs, advertising on Estatesales.net, Social media and sending out email newsletters to individual buyers, designers, dealers and stagers.
Where is the estate sale held?
We conduct the estate sale within the home. We stage, research, price, and photograph (for advertising) all items to highlight the entire collection in the home.
Can I be living in the home during the estate sale?
We ask that our clients already be moved out before the preparation of the estate sale begins. We move around most of the items in the home and stage it like a boutique.
Are there any addition fees in addition to commission paid?
Our commission covers all the cost to the client. We will notify you ahead of time if any other fees are to be incurred.
Do I get records of what was sold?
Yes, you will get a copy of every receipt from at the sale which contains a description of the item sold and amount it sold for.
How soon will I get paid?
Within 14 days after the sale.
What do I do with the unsold items?
If items are left after the sale, you are welcome to take the remaining items back, store them, or donate them.
In the event you choose donation, we can schedule a service to come to the house and remove the items for a tax write-off.
The donation pickup will be overseen by the client.
Do you clean the home after the estate sale?
We remove all of our materials, signs, etc and leave the home as it was when we entered it
